Job Brief:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MSI LEAD (Coordination, Support, and Integration) Lead to join our aviation team. The MSI Lead will play a critical role in overseeing the deliverables, support, and integration activities related to our aviation systems and equipment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in aviation project execution, interface requirement, middle layer, Airport integration platform (AIP), Airport database operation system (AODB) along with excellent leadership and communication skills. They must be able to effectively manage a team of technicians and engineers to ensure the seamless operation of our aviation assets.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the project activity, interfaces, coordination and support activities for aviation systems, including IT and non-IT system at airport. Strong knowledge of PPS, BHS, CUSS, CUPPS, AODB, SBD, BRS, FIDS, VDGS, AODB, AIP & Middle layer interfaces.
- Develop and implement interface and milestone relates with schedules and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to prioritize the tasks and resolve issues in a timely manner at ground among all the vendors and team members.
- Preparation templates of interfaces, testing and commissioning.
- Lead a team of solution architect, program manager, dev-ops team and engineers, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Ensure that all milestone activities are properly documented and recorded in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards in relation with timely billing with customer.
- Manage the integration of new system and technologies into new and existing airport, ensuring compatibility and seamless integration, testing and commissioning.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess the condition of interfaces assets and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay informed about advancements in aviation technology and industry trends and make recommendations for system upgrades and enhancements.
- Responsible & accountable of MIS reports, activity milestone linked with project plan.
Requirements and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in aviation, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent related 12-year field experience. Master’s degree preferred.
- Highly skilled profile to implement the AODB & middle layer interfaces.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in airport system and operations, with a proven track record of leadership.
- Strong knowledge of airport system and uses of equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong leadership abilities, with a focus on fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to aviation integration and project management.
- Flexibility to work non-standard hours and travel as needed.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or relevant technical certifications is desirable.
