Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced BIM Manager and Engineer to join our team for one of our major projects in Riyadh. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes and workflows within the organization. They will play a crucial role in implementing BIM technologies and methodologies to improve the efficiency and accuracy of design, construction, and facility management processes. This role requires a deep understanding of BIM software, construction principles, and project management.

Responsibilities:

1. BIM Implementation:

• Lead the implementation of BIM processes and standards across projects and departments.
• Develop and enforce BIM execution plans (BEPs) to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams to establish BIM project goals, milestones, and deliverables.

2. BIM Modeling:

• Create and manage BIM models for ELV Systems
• Ensure BIM models are accurate, coordinated, and adhere to project standards and guidelines.
• Conduct clash detection and resolution to identify and mitigate conflicts between different building systems.

3. BIM Coordination:

• Facilitate coordination meetings to review BIM models and resolve conflicts.
• Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate BIM-related activities.
• Monitor and track model changes and revisions throughout the project lifecycle.

4. BIM Training and Support:

• Provide training and support to project teams on BIM software and methodologies.
• Develop and maintain BIM libraries, templates, and standards to streamline workflow processes.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on BIM-related technologies and best practices.

5. Quality Control and Assurance:

• Conduct regular audits of BIM models to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Implement quality control processes to verify compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Continuously improve BIM workflows and processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

6. Project Management:

• Assist project managers in planning and coordinating BIM-related activities.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables related to BIM implementation.
• Identify and address potential risks and challenges associated with BIM workflows.

Requirements and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360.
• Strong understanding of construction principles, building codes, and standards.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in project management and coordination.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Certification in BIM (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) is a plus.
• Knowledge of ELV systems is a plus.
